The Carter household stays busy. Sometimes more than I’d like to admit. It’s hard to make time to sit down and actually spend true quality time together with your family. But every fall we paint pumpkins, while watching a Halloween movie and eating Pillsbury sugar cookies. It’s tradition!
We usually trail to a pumpkin patch and pick our pumpkins. But with a new job working weekends, it was much harder. The kids didn’t seem to mind though! They enjoyed diving into the bins at Walmart probably more than stomping through the patch! Of course, it was nothing short of picking out every single pumpkin to find the largest pumpkin at the bottom of the bin for my dear Amelia. It had to be the biggest, most perfect pumpkin. Naturally.
It’s so fun to watch these two be creative and do their own thing. Amelia was copying a Shopkin. And Maddox just loved splattering colors all over. It’s Such a simple craft, but fun none the less.
It wouldn’t be complete without our favorite Halloween movie!! Hocus Pocus!
I wanted to copy one of these cute little owls from Pinterest. It turned out really cute!
I also Apparently married an artist and didn’t know. Kyle free handed this entire carving/painting of his pumpkin. Where the heck did that come from??
Fall is such a fun season! It’s our favorite! Do you have any fall traditions??
